For 25 years in law enforcement, shaving was just part of the daily routine. Clean-cut, professional, and ready for duty.
Well, this November, the razor is getting 30 days off!
I'm participating in No Shave November 2026 to raise awareness and support the fight against cancer, especially colorectal cancer.
As a husband, father, retired peace officer, and current school marshal, I've spent much of my life looking out for others. This is another opportunity to do something that matters.
Cancer doesn't care who you are, what uniform you wear, or how strong you think you are. It affects families, friends, coworkers, and entire communities.
And sometimes the toughest thing a man can do isn't facing danger. It's making that doctor's appointment, getting screened, and taking his health seriously.
My goal is simple: Raise $100, grow a beard, and hopefully start a few conversations that make a difference.
If you can donate $5, $10, or whatever you're comfortable giving, I would appreciate your support. If donating isn't possible, share this page and help spread awareness.
And if you see me looking a little scruffy this month, don't worry. I haven't given up on personal hygiene. I've just given up on my razor for a good cause!
God bless, and thank you for supporting the fight against cancer.
