The purpose of No Shave November is to embrace hair growth that many cancer patients lose during treatment. Though I prefer to stay clean-shaven, November marks a period of the year where I forgo that habit to start discussions about cancer.

Cancer impacts the lives of those around us every day. November is a month to consider the privileges we have in life that others may not.

I usually participate in No Shave November by myself. However, this year, my goal is to encourage others to participate and donate with me.
