I am my husband’s caregiver. He was diagnosed with stage 4, Chronic Kidney Disease in 2013. 2016 brought about a bout of sepsis that could reoccur at any time. Dialysis removed the toxins from his blood. He also was diagnosed with colon cancer, which high-risk surgery took care of. This year, he had to have an aortic valve replacement.
