Every day, every month children in Haiti need lunch! This comes as no surprise to our friends on the North Shore who have provided the children of St. Louis d'Haiti with a full school lunch program since 2018.
While we miss the opportunity to pack the lunches ourselves, we transfer funds electronically for school cooks to provision the meals locally. This actually helps Haitian farmers and market vendors as well as the students!
Thanks in part to our effort, enrollment is up at our partner school, now more than 250 children. Consecquently, our task this year is to raise $40,000 to feed them every day, every month through 2027.
You can join this ongoing effort. Our school is growing and we want to keep the children growing and learning. It will cost the school $150 to feed the children each day.
