Like parents everywhere, one of our greatest wishes for our children is good health. When our son Nicholas was born with Severe Hemophilia A this wish took on a whole new meaning. 

There was a time not so very long ago when the outlook for someone with a diagnosis of hemophilia was very grim. Thanks to considerable research and treatment advances, individuals with hemophilia can now live long, fulfilling lives. Thanks to continued medical research, treatment options have improved tremendously during Nicholas' young life and he is heading off to college in the fall! 

However, better treatments are not a cure. For many, a world without bleeding disorders is simply a dream. Thousands of children and adults affected face internal bleeding, costly treatments and lifelong infusions. We are raising money to help with education, better treatment and hopefully, one day soon, a cure.
