Dear Friends,

My name is Ondine Goedhuis. On November 1st, I will be running the 2026 New York City Marathon in support of Let’s Win Pancreatic Cancer in honor of my beloved father, Michael Goedhuis. My father was diagnosed with Stage IV pancreatic cancer in 2021 and fought a valiant battle for 4.5 years. We very sadly lost him in April this year, but he will always be remembered for living every day of his cancer journey with optimism, grace, and humor. 

Pancreatic cancer has had a profound impact on my life and my family, and running for Let's Win is deeply personal to me. I am honored to support an organization that is making a real difference for patients and families affected by pancreatic cancer. Let's Win connects families with valuable resources and support, including clinical trials that can often significantly extend survival for patients. My father was fortunate to respond positively to innovative therapies and treatments, and I am immensely grateful for the additional years that my family had with him. 

Let's Win has a spectacular mission: to make sure that no one faces a pancreatic cancer diagnosis alone. Every contribution goes directly to Let's Win towards helping patients and families navigate their cancer journey with hope and courage.
