I'm running the NYC Marathon with Let's Win Pancreatic Cancer

As many of you know, my dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the fall of 2021. In the face of this disease that is too often caught too late, he was incredibly fortunate -- his tumor was detected early. This September, he will reach the extraordinary milestone of five years since diagnosis. I couldn’t be more grateful.

In November, I'll be running the NYC Marathon as part of the Let's Win Pancreatic Cancer team. Let’s Win is a non-profit organization dedicated to changing the story of pancreatic cancer by connecting patients with clinical trials, sharing evidence-based resources, and highlighting the experiences of long-term survivors. At my first Let's Win event, I met people who had beaten the odds and found something that can be hard to hold onto after a pancreatic cancer diagnosis -- hope.

While my dad's story is one of hope, too many families still face a different reality. The five-year survival rate for pancreatic cancer remains far too low -- at 13 percent.  That number needs to be a lot closer to 100%.  To help achieve that outcome and mark my dad’s five-year milestone, my goal is to raise $5,000 to support Let's Win's work helping more patients access life-saving information, connect with clinical trials, and ultimately improve outcomes for everyone facing this deadly disease.

If you would like to support me with a donation of any size, you can donate on this page.

Thank you for your support. It means the world to me and my family.
