I've been involved with NYSX for nearly two years as an active member of the Momentum Council, and in that time this organization has become a major part of my life. 

Every facet of the organization reframes Shakespeare's works in fresh ways and clearly demonstrates that these classic plays and poems are as relevant and entertaining today as they have ever been.

While NYSX's ShakesBEER pub crawls and main stage productions are not to be missed if you're in New York, the NYSX initiative I am most proud of and passionate about is the Sonnet Project, which makes NYSX accessible everywhere.

This film series of all 154 sonnets began in New York, but is now going national and global. In fact, my dear friend Ben conceived and directed the first international Sonnet Project film over in England, and it is one of the best sonnet films to date (and I'm not just saying that!). Check it out:
