I've been involved with New York Shakespeare Exchange for over 6 years. During that time, I've been privileged to see most of the work that NYSX has created. But even more importantly, I've been able to participate in conversations about what the work means to us today. 

And that's the reason I'm asking for your support. There are hundreds of causes you can donate your time, attention, and dollars. They are all worthwhile. But today, I'm asking you to help New York Shakespeare Exchange bring to life art that facilitates conversation...that bridges a divide. 

Today, more than ever, we need to preserve the freedom we have to express ourselves, the conversations that result from experiencing something unfamiliar and the awareness that results from that dialogue.
