Oakley & Me for Team23

This September, Oakley and I are hitting the pavement for a cause that means so much to me! We’re committing to walking every day throughout the month of September while raising funds to support the Kirk Gibson Center for Parkinson’s Wellness.

Working at the Center, I have the privilege of seeing firsthand the impact our programs, our team, and this incredible community have on the lives of people with Parkinson’s and their families. This walk is my personal way of supporting that mission beyond my role at the Center—and inviting my friends, family, and colleagues to be part of it too.

Throughout the month, I’ll be sharing updates from our walks, our adventures along the way, and, of course, plenty of photos of my favorite walking partner, Oakley.

Every walk represents our commitment to helping people with Parkinson’s keep moving, stay connected, and live well.

Please consider supporting Oakley and me with a donation of any amount. Together, we can make every walk matter.

30 days. Lots of walks. One incredible mission.

Why Raise Money for Team23?

Team23 is the community-based fundraising team for the Kirk Gibson Center, with the goal of raising awareness of Parkinson’s and redefining what it means to live with Parkinson’s. Every dollar raised through Team23 makes it possible for us to provide life-changing classes and movement programs, meaningful social connections, and a supportive community where people living with Parkinson’s can thrive. Most importantly, your donations help ensure these services remain available at no cost to the individuals and families we serve.

Together, we are creating opportunities for people affected by Parkinson’s to live healthier, more active, and more connected lives. Thank you for helping us make a lasting difference.
