OneAmerica has been my movement and political home for the last decade. As the proud daughter of immigrants, my entire life I have searched for a place in which I could turn the pain and hardship my family experienced leaving their home country of Iran to power and transformational change. OneAmerica has been that place where I learned about the power of organizing and my leadership.

My journey with OneAmerica started in 2009 as an intern, then as a staff developing campaigns at the intersection of immigrant rights and education such as supporting bilingualism in our schools, and now proudly serving as  OneAmerica's Deputy Director.  OneAmerica has been my personal path to power and a place that has viewed me as a leader because of my lived experiences and commitment to organizing. Now I have the incredible opportunity to invest in leaders, staff and supporters each day to step into their own power and collectively make the change we know is possible.
