A majority of students at CSUSM are the first generation in their family to attend college and many have had part-time or full-time employment to help pay their education and living costs. The economic downturn resulting from Covid-19 has severely impacted students' and their families' income. In addition, the at-home lockdown has made it harder for many students to find the necessary space, technology and time for their academic studies. Despite these unprecedented times, our students continue to demonstrate the work ethic and determiniation we foster in the Accounting Program at CSU San Marcos.
The academic knowledge and life experiences of our students gained during these challenging times will help us rebuild and reshape our economy and community for many years to come.
