Books and Banter is Millersville University’s first official book club here on campus. We meet at least twice a month to discuss our chosen book for the month. In addition, to our regular meetings, we host a variety of creative, book-themed events such as book bedazzling, tote bag painting, diamond art coasters, and DIY bookmarks. Each spring, we also host our biggest event of the year which is a used book sale. 

Our mission is to create a welcoming and inclusive space where students can connect, engage, and share ideas through literature. Books and Banter encourages members to build friendships, explore new perspectives, and discover stories beyond their usual reading interests. We also have a Little Free Library outside the SMC to promote reading within our campus community.

In the future if we are to receive enough funds we hope to be able to provide students with the books each month to increase member engagement. Your support will help us encourage the love for reading amongst the college community.
