We're excited to come together to participate in One Day Give 2026, a fundraiser supporting Millersville University. We are raising money for the 'Ville Sports Officials Association (VSOA). The VSOA at Millersville University is a student-led organization dedicated to training, developing, and supporting student officials. VSOA provides members with hands-on officiating experience, professional development opportunities, and mentorship to help build confidence, leadership, and communication skills. Whether new to officiating or looking to refine skills, VSOA offers a welcoming environment to learn the rules, stay active in campus recreation, and grow as a sports official. Our collective passion for this cause drives us, and we need your support to make a difference! Every donation—big or small—helps us reach our fundraising goal and directly impacts this important cause.
Your gift plays an important role in supporting the Ville Sports Officials Association (VSOA) at Millersville University by providing resources that enhance the experience and development of student officials. Our goal is to send at least four students to the NIRSA annual conference, as well as at least one flag football and basketball regional tournament.
Through fundraising efforts, VSOA can:
- Provide training materials and equipment – Purchase PIAA rulebooks, uniforms, whistles, and other officiating gear.
- Support professional development – Cover costs for certifications, NIRSA/PIAA clinics, and leadership workshops.
- Fund travel opportunities– Help members attend NIRSA regional tournaments, NIRSA conferences, or officiating camps.
- Reduce financial barriers– Ensure more students can participate regardless of personal financial circumstances.
Overall, fundraising strengthens the organization’s ability to train confident, skilled officials while building community and opportunity within VSOA.
