Last year at camp, TD made a life-changing decision. He said yes to Jesus even though that meant releasing his pent-up bitterness and anger towards the people who hurt him. Since then, he can't stop talking about the "New Beginning" he's found in Christ! We can't believe the change we've seen, but we know that Jesus made it possible!
Camp is life-changing, but the cost is prohibitive for our students without your help. My goal is $2,400 to send six students to YFC Camp in 2020!
My life's goal is to see students who are far from God come into relationship with Jesus Christ. I am so honored that spending time with lost students each day is my full-time job! Our context in Homestead is hard, with youth violence, abandonment, and poverty keeping students from seeing how valuable and loved they are in God's eyes. That's why God planted KIX in this neighborhood, to meet these students where they're at, to build relationships, and to introduce them to the only One who sees, knows, and can heal their situation from the inside out, Jesus.
It's been one and a half years in Homestead and I couldn't be more blessed. Thanks for helping me reach students with the gospel here.
