Some of you know I have a passion for connecting kids to outdoor experiences and the natural world though my work at St. Joseph County Parks. But, a child’s experiences should not include homelessness, abuse and no safe place to stay.

I admire the work YSB does to connect young people in our community to resources that help them transition out of rough situations and equip them with new skills and support. I’m honored to help them in this work during Over the Edge!

And hey, this will be a new outdoor experience for me… (YIKES)  and maybe I’ll meet some cool insects or birds on the trip down!
