Thirty years ago, Jo-Ann "Joey" Lautman and a group of like-minded friends and family sat around her kitchen table and created OUR HOUSE Grief Support Center. From a windowless office on Sepulveda, to vibrant centers in West Los Angeles and Woodland Hills, we have taken our grief support services to schools, businesses, and community centers throughout Los Angeles County. We educate medical and mental health students, professionals, clergy, and teachers. We provide groups in Spanish. AND we offer two incredible kids' camp weekends every summer.
Yes, OUR HOUSE offers services across the community and yes, thousands of hours of grief support and education are delivered each year. But many communities still do not have the grief support services they so desperately need, especially after the Pandemic. Our strategic plan points us directly at these underserved communities and with your financial support we can make that happen.
