Nashda is 12 and in the 7th grade. This is her first year to be enrolled in the online program offered by a private Christian school on the other side of the island. She's transitioned really well and is super-responsible with all her assignments. She's also taking English classes with another ministry here in town. That homework tends to be done in the car on the way to class! She's a great big sis to our newest little guy who's two years old. Hers was the first name he said when he came to us.
We're raising money for Three Trees Ministries!
We're excited to come together to participate in Our Angels' Trees, a fundraiser supporting Three Trees Ministries by helping them build their new permanent home. Three Trees is a faith-based not-for-profit located on the border of the Dominican Republic and Haiti. They have a children's home for kids who need a family, a transitional home for those kids who are ready to move towards independent adulthood, and a boys' home for those who need a safe place to be until they can be reunited with family.
