On April 14th l’ll be running a 5k in support of Our House, a grief support center in LA that provides free and low-cost programs for grievers of all ages. Our House is where the Lembergers went for five years after my dad, Lester Lemberger, passed away in 1994. I don’t remember too many things from that time, but I do remember going to Our House and feeling so much love and support. Looking back, I’m so grateful that I was able to have a safe place to express the feelings I could understand and process.
I am excited to run the 5k to connect with the memory of my dad and honor his life. I'm looking forward to to giving back to a special organization that helped us get through some of our most challenging times.
