Over The Edge Event - I am conquering my fear of heights for the men, women and children who are hurting in our community!
When I was first introduced to this event, I thought "No big deal, Sounds easy!" Then I climbed onto the 20th floor rooftop of the Hilton Milwaukee City Center, I looked over the edge, and my heart jumped into my throat... it was crystal clear that I do have a very real fear of heights!
However, my fear of heights is small when I compare it to how fearful it must be to be homeless, hungry, struggling with addiction and desperate for hope. That is why I am excited that every dollor raised during Over The Edge goes to support the men, women and children who are hurting in our community.
