A Mission I didn't know I had.
I believe in this city of Milwaukee, and intend to stay here my whole life through. It is thanks to orgainzations such as Milwaukee Rescue Mission that we have a future to hope for. One that will be brightened by the touch of generousity. I am proud to help support this great organization that values the lives of my neighbors when they are in need.
I first set foot on this rooftop when I was 12 years old, in 1992. The building had a different name back then, but it has remained one of the greatest views in Downtown. I've had the pleasure of seeing the sights from this perch many times since childhood, and never dreamed that I would have the opportunity to decend it's heights from the exterior!
I don't see anything heroic about me climbing down a building, it just seems like a thing I really ought to do. It is just like raising money for causes that serve our community, it is simply what I ought to do. Please help me on this mission!
