In May 2024, I lost my mother to pancreatic cancer.

Like so many families, we experienced firsthand how devastating a cancer diagnosis can be. Watching someone you love fight this disease changes you forever. It also reminds you how important it is that patients and families have access to support, resources, and hope when they need it most.

That's why I'm raising $2,500 for the Cancer Association of Spartanburg and Cherokee Counties.

To help reach that goal, I'm stepping well outside my comfort zone and going "Over the Edge" of the 11-story Denny's building on my birthday. Heights are definitely not my favorite thing, but facing one of my fears seems like a small sacrifice compared to what cancer patients and their families face every day.

Every dollar raised helps provide support and services to individuals and families battling cancer right here in our community.
