Hobbs Academy students and staff are excited to participate in Small Goals Big Change Bay Area, a tournament supporting Soccer Without Borders. 

Hobbs Academy provides academic instruction, support services, and childcare for parenting students completing their high school diplomas in Alameda County. This year, for the first time, Hobbs Academy has partnered with Soccer Without Borders Bay Area to add afterschool soccer programming to their repertoire of support services. At Hobbs, SWB focuses on using soccer to facilitate teambuilding and social-emotional learning, and allow participants to experience the holistic benefits of "play." 

A lot of joy, connection, and learning has come from SWB programming at Hobbs already, but the Small Goals Big Change tournament will be the first opportunity for many participants to play in a more competitive setting on a high-quality field. 

Every donation—big or small—helps us reach our fundraising goal and directly supports Soccer Without Borders programming at Hobbs Academy and across the Bay Area.
