Entomemeology Pollinator Month 2026

Please join in and protect invertebrates today!

Butterflies, bees, dragonflies, beetles, spiders, freshwater mussels and other invertebrates sustain life as we know it. Yet many are declining due to habitat loss, pesticide use, climate change, and more. But there are steps that we can all take to help these vital animals and no action is too small. Please taking a stand for invertebrates today by making a donation to my fundraiser. Your support means the world to me, thank you!

Support Invertebrate Conservation for Pollinator Month!

Pollinator month is celebrated every June to appreciate the pollinators of planet Earth. This Pollinator month Entomemeology has teamed up with Xerces Society again to bring you a simple and easy way to contribute to invertebrate conservation and show your love for the little creatures that run this planet. Many conservation organizations are facing critical funding issues right now. Some have lost significant portions of or all their federal funding in recent budget cuts. With these uncertain times for conservation funding it is critical these organizations find additional resources to continue operating. In 2024 Entomemeology partnered with Xerces Society because we believe in their mission and have seen what they have been able to achieve for bugs. They are a fantastic organization with a skilled team comprised of specialists from the fields of entomology, botany, agriculture, habitat restoration, conservation biology, public policy, & community engagement. They have worked tirelessly over 50 years to protect endangered species through habitat protection, pesticide reduction, training farmers & land managers, & education about insect & pollinator issues. As the world’s largest digital entomology community, we have an opportunity to use our collective power to help Xerces continue their mission of invertebrate conservation. Our first year we raised $5,300 during Pollinator month for Xerces Society. Last year we raised nearly $10,000! That is incredible! Imagine what we could do if we got even a fraction of our community to contribute a few dollars towards this mission of bug conservation!

We care about bugs and we know you do to. That is why we have set up this headache-free and easy way to donate direct to Xerces Society. Donations made to Xerces Society are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.

Every donation is automatically entered to win one of many Xerces Society and Entomemeology donation prize packs! Winners will be announced after the donation period ends on June 30th. Be sure to sign up for our email newsletter at entomemeology.com to ensure you don’t miss any updates about events like this!
