I truly believe that if happiness had a place, it would look a lot like PALS. Three years ago, I attended PALS for the first time, never expecting it to become one of the most impactful experiences of my life.

PALS is so much more than a camp. It’s a community where individuals with and without Down syndrome come together to build genuine, lifelong friendships, learn from one another, and create a place where everyone feels a true sense of belonging. Every year, I leave with a fuller heart and a deeper appreciation for the power of friendship, the importance of inclusion, and the joy of celebrating people for exactly who they are. 

The magic of PALS lives in moments that are impossible to fully explain. It’s found in the endless hugs, contagious laughter, happy tears, inside jokes, dance parties, and all the little moments that stay with you long after camp ends.
