I don’t know if there’s anyone who’s life hasn’t been affected by cancer either directly or through a loved one. I lost my mom to cancer 19 years ago after a hard fought battle. She was so young and had so much life to live. I wish she was here today for so many reasons, especially to have watched her grandkids grow and to guide me along the way. There’s so much I wish I could share with her, including my daughter that she never got to meet, and the perseverance that her oldest grandson has shown to graduate from infantry in the military because he hopes to make a difference and help people. She would be so proud. I wish she could see the young men they’ve grown up to be and how much their little sister adores them both! I look forward to raising money for this great cause and being able to honour my mom. Please consider helping me with this great cause by either donating or coming out to walk with me! No one going through such a terrible disease should ever feel alone and I love what the Never Alone Foundation does for cancer patients and their families!
Nearly everyone has been touched by cancer, either through their personal experience or through someone they love.
I’m participating in the Paws for a Cause Cancer Walk, because I know I am making a difference in the lives of people who are dealing with cancer every day.
