Our Programs in Action

Hope for the Holidays

We were able to do an in-person event for 50 people, and continued the tradition of delivering presents across the city in our specialized sleigh.

Hope for the Holidays touched more than just the families we visited. Neighbours and children came running to see Santa. Many parents were in tears, overwhelmed with emotion and the magic of the holidays.

Thank you again for the beautiful gifts and amazing visit from Santa - the kids and us loved it. Our neighborhood is still talking about Santa riding through the streets in his light up sleigh. :) The Joy it brought our family, and our neighborhood is priceless! you can absolutely share the video and photo with anyone and everyone. from our family to yours Happy Holidays and Happy new year.  Frances M.

Never Alone Direct Support Program

Fred was already experiencing a health challenge when he was diagnosed with cancer. Being dependant on oxygen meant that he'd have to pay for cylinders for each of his radiation appointments. This wasn't something he expected to have to budget for on top of all the other hurdles he faced.

Thankfully, he was connected to Never Alone Cancer Foundation. We made sure he was able to attend all his appointments and had additional nutrional support.

I really don't know what I would have done without Never Alone. The day they showed up ... it was like I had hope again. Tough enough to endure all those radiation treatments, but not knowing how I was going to get there, how I would manage everything ...almost left me defeated. They cared for me and that means everything. - Fred M.

Paws for a Cause Cancer Walk created in memory of Jerry Maslowsky

This event was created in memory of Jerry Maslowsky, who passed away on September 4, 2016 from esophageal cancer.

Jerry’s passion for helping others and giving back to the community lives on through this event.

Jerry spent the majority of his career as the Vice-President of Sales and Marketing with the Winnipeg Football Club, where he was introduced to Lyle Bauer and was involved in the development of the Never Alone Foundation. Jerry was a life-long Blue Bomber fan and had the opportunity to work his dream job for 15 seasons. He was committed to his team and regularly went above and beyond to help players, office staff, coaches and fans. Jerry was truly one-of-kind, inspiring hope, enriching lives and giving back to the community.
