Crush and I are walking for Paws in the Park to raise money for the SPCA. We're walking in memory of my mom and dad who taught me what it means to rescue; to open your heart to an animal in need. Over the years mom and dad rescued every animal that lived in our home. The SPCA has helped me with spay and neuter of some of the kittens dropped off at our house, and I worked with the SPCA Wildlife Clinic for nearly 30 years rescuing everything from Chipmunks to Bald Eagles. I could not have accomplished what I did without their help. The SPCA also sponsors Crush and I when we volunteer for Paws for Love. They help all over Western NY, not just Erie County. My goal is small because we've never done this before. We don't know what to expect. I do know from experience in rescue that every little bit helps. Thank you.
