Dogs and beer! Pawtoberfest is one of Colorado's ONLY dog-friendly festivals, featuring a craft brews and spirits tasting with over 30 beverage partners, a 2-mile dog walk, more than 75 sponsors and vendors, music, agility demonstrations, pet contests, activities for the whole family and plenty of scrumptious food from local food trucks!
Pawtoberfest brings animal lovers and dogs together for an important purpose - to help Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region care for thousands of lost, abandoned, abused and unwanted pets, giving them a second chance.
New this year: Our Dog Walk has moved! New start time of 9:00 a.m.! Our Dog Walk will take place at Bear Creek Regional Park - EAST and will begin at 9 a.m. Participants can follow a 2 mile loop on the EAST side of Bear Creek Regional Park, with the walk ending at the Festival on the West side of Bear Creek Regional Park. See Event Info page for maps and more information. Participants may walk the Dog Walk at their leisure between the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Important note about t-shirts: T-shirts are guaranteed only for those participants who register by Aug 15, 2019.
Important Parking Information
All parking is at Norris Penrose Event Center's overflow parking lot, 1106 W. Moreno Ave, Colorado Springs, 80905. Dog-friendly shuttles will run throughout the day from the overflow parking lot to Bear Creek Regional Park East. The Festival area is a short 8 minute walk from the shuttle drop off. Join us all summer leading up to Pawtoberfest by drinking a beer for a great cause! Happy Tails Happy Hours are happening at local breweries around town and $1 of each beer sold goes right back to the homeless pets at HSPPR.
