Team Fundraising

Take your support to the next level by creating a fundraising team! With your help, we can make an even bigger impact on the lives of homeless, abused, and neglected animals in the Pikes Peak Region.

It's easy to get started - simply gather your friends, family, co-workers, or fellow animal lovers, and create a team with a name that represents your passion for helping animals. Register as an individual or team fundraising group when you purchase your ticket. Already purchased your ticket? You can still register to join or create your own team in your fundraising dashboard > Join A Team.

As a team, you'll have access to exclusive resources such as customizable fundraising pages to help you maximize your impact. Your fundraising page is easily shareable on social media platforms. You'll also be eligible for team incentives and recognition to show our appreciation for your dedication and efforts.

Not only will your team be raising much-needed funds to provide shelter, care, and medical attention to animals in need, but you'll also be spreading awareness about what an important part the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region plays in the community. Together, we can make a real difference and create a brighter future for our furry friends.

So, why wait? Take the next step and create a fundraising team today and help us reach our goal of raising $200,000 at Pawtoberfest 2023! Top 3 fundraising teams and top 3 fundraising individuals will be recognized with a prize!

The fundraising competition ends on Thursday, Sept 14th.  Please have all donations recorded by 11:59 p.m. Thursday, Sept 14th.

Molly's Story

Molly is an HSPPR alumni and we’ve been together for three years. I was introduced to Molly by a dog walking volunteer and took her home the same day. I wanted a dog who was sassy, spunky, and down for a lifetime of adventures. I couldn’t have found a better dog. I had recently moved out on my own after a long-term relationship, and despite the boxes still left to be unpacked Molly made herself at home right away - sleeping under the covers the very first night. She was an instant improvement to my routine helping get me out for daily walks and adventures. We love to go camping, road-tripping, hiking, kayaking, and she spends hours in the summer chasing off the squirrels at my garden!

Molly was brought in through HSPPR’s Transfer program from a shelter in New Mexico that was struggling to find an adopter for her. We’re unsure how long Molly spent in a kennel, but when she first arrived home she was incredibly nervous and would cower and “spin” as a way to burn her excess anxiety. I’m happy to report that with trust and time, Molly only spins when she’s excited and gets to run on the trails every day.

When you adopt a pet you’re saving two lives, the pet you rescued and the next pet that needs an open kennel and shelter. In my case with Molly, she brought the spunk back into my life too. We are truly better together! I’m fundraising for HSPPR’s Pawtoberfest to raise money in honor of Molly and dogs just like her. I hope you join me so we can continue to make happy tails, and happy hearts!
