For over 40 years, the Catyak was a constant on the shores of Lake Erie at Camp Fitch. Less known for speed and turning ability, the catamaran can pretty much only steer in one direction: Jibe. That's right friends, this bold and sturdy vessel oftentimes unintentionally transported campers to the far eastern shores of camp and occasionally into a cement pier. If you look hard enough deep in the woods off the lake, you may just find the remains of these majestic shipwrecked sailboats.
