I’m 15, and I just joined the teen board of the Pediatric Cancer Foundation (PCF). Every kid on the board picked their own fundraiser, and I decided to do something active: I'm calling mine Walk Across Westchester. Starting from home in Larchmont, I'm going to walk through seven towns across the county: Scarsdale, New Rochelle, Harrison, Armonk, Hastings, and Tarrytown — one weekend a month over the next seven months. It won't be one continuous hike between towns, more like a few miles in and around each one. By the time I'm done I'll have made my way across a real stretch of Westchester, all to raise money for kids and families dealing with pediatric cancer. I am very interested in medicine, and am the third generation in my family to support this particular cause. On this mission, I’d love your support. Thank you so much. It means a lot to me.
