"Plunge" into the New Year with the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area. Registration is NOW OPEN! Celebrating its 28th year, the Penguin Plunge is a signature fundraising event to support animals in need. Participants register in advance to raise funds, then gather on New Year's Day to jump into the icy cold Susquehanna River. Hundreds more come to cheer on these animal welfare warriors!
Register now, then join us for a fun day for the animals. You can fundraise and Plunge as an individual or create a team of friends, family, or coworkers. Fundraise in honor of your pet or pick your favorite pet from our shelter. Registration is $40.00. Any individual that raises an additional $75.00 receives and exclusive event beach towel.
