If you know me, you know I hate the cold. Absolutely hate it. So why am I jumping into icy water for the Penguin Plunge? Because some things matter more than comfort—and for me, that’s the animals at the Humane Society of Harrisburg.

This organization has already changed my life by introducing us to two amazing family members we adopted (We love you, Circe and Snickers!). If I could, I’d take every animal there home with me. Since I can’t, I’m doing the next best thing: helping ensure they have the care, love, and resources they need while they wait for their forever homes.
