Last year YOU helped me helped raise $1,450 for the Humane Society of Harrisburg by supporting me in the 2025 Penguin Plunge!
These donations go directly to the quality of life for animal residents at the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area.
Changes already implemented include adding temperature controls in the dog kennels to improve their overall living conditions and adding three large outdoor play yards for enrichment and daily exercise.
New in 2025, which I am proud to be a part of, is Dog Playgroups using the methods of https://dogsplayingforlife.com/ using our three large outdoor playpens.
"With playgroups, natural behavioral expression and canine communication can occur, helping to identify dogs that can fast track into homes. On the other hand, dogs with potential behavioral challenges can be better identified and benefit greatly from a targeted action plan for successful placement."
