2020 Accomplishments
- CARE volunteers found homes for more than 179 dogs and cats, most of whom would otherwise have been euthanized without the dedicated help of our donors and volunteers.
- CARE faciliated the spay or neuter of 613 dogs and cats.
- CARE microchipped 551 pets through our low-cost microchip clinics, in addition to chipping all foster animals and those in the Lillie's Fund program.
- Volunteers put in a total of 29,416 hours and responded to over 2,000 inquiries from voicemail, email and our website!
The Costs to Support a Pet
- $50 buys 1 large bag of food for foster pets
- $100 pays for spay or neuter surger for one cat or dog
- $250 pays for heartworm treatment for one dog
- $500 pays for dental work for adult foster animals
- $1000 pays for medical expenses for critically injured cats or dogs
