Upon arrival, HSC’s shelter veterinary team discovered that Kevin was battling a resistant and very painful double ear infection. We immediately began to issue various medications and tests, and take him to an ear specialist to help clear the infection. After a few weeks, his ear infection healed, but he began to have side effects from the medications such as extreme hunger and thirst. Kevin spent a lot of time in medical treatment in the shelter before he was ready for adoption.

After six months of treatment for his double ear infection and the resulting side effects from the medications, Kevin was ready for adoption. He was adopted by one of HSC’s animal care staff members who fell in love with his sweet and gentle personality.
