If you know me at all, you know that I believe in pet rescue. The Charlotte region continues to have a pet overpopulation that leads to many homeless companion animals being picked up by animal control agencies or getting turned into local animal shelters. Humane Society of Charlotte partners with local sheters and agencies to rehome animals, they provide low cost spay / neuter services, and provide other needed services and goods to local families who are in crisis to help them keep their pets when at all possible.
