My name is Dr. Diana Ferradas and I am the Shelter Veterinarian at the Humane Society of Charlotte. For the past three years, I have had the pleasure of working at the HSC and helping animals from local and partner shelters in medical need. Every day on the job is an adventure and the team works endlessly to take care of all of the animals at our shelter. By working with partner shelters and with donations, we are able to transfer in dogs and cats with special medical needs such those that need life-changing surgeries (leg amputations, bladder surgeries, etc) and medical care ranging from treating skin disease, gastrointestinal disease, and more.
