Kitsap Humane Society has been called "the little shelter that could" and for good reason. Often short-staffed and stretched-thin, KHS has taken ambitious strides for animal, and human, welfare in Kitsap County and beyond. Rescuing and rehoming over 6,000 animals in 2019 alone, KHS stands as one of the most successful shelters of its size in the US, maintaining a lives saved rate of 94% or higher for nearly a decade. 

Now, more than ever, this determined little shelter is buckling down and going above and beyond to continue serving pets in need in our community as we navigate uncertain times. Kitsap Humane Society, the staff, volunteers, and community members that keep it going need YOUR support to continue their mission of finding a home for every adoptable animal.
