Hi! My name is Dominic and I’m walking in PetsWALK to help save the lives of animals like me. 

I was found all alone by a nice person who took me in and brought me to Kitsap Humane Society. I was scared and my leg was in pain, but the nice people here have made me feel so comfortable and safe. They’ve taken such good care of me and now I’m doing a lot better. 

They knew I wasn’t a big fan of the dog kennels (I’m a bit of a character, they say!), and instead, I get to spend my days lounging in an office! That’s right - I’m the boss! I still have a limp and can’t do as many zoomies as I used to, but I can still go on walks with my human friends! I LOVE walks!!!

Word around the kennel is that PetsWALK is virtual this year, which means we can walk from anywhere we want! The money raised will help care for me and my other shelter buddies today and into the future.
