Support for KHS has impacts on animal welfare across the US. Not only does our little shelter rescue and care for animals in our community, we also work far beyond our local municipality.  From assisting animal rescue groups around the Sound to transferring in animal from many hundreds of miles away, we strive to help wherever we can. 

And thanks to those near and far who believe in and support our efforts, our help is extending further and further as we grow.
