As the Finance Manager at Providence Animal Rescue League (PARL), I have seen the countless ways that every staff member of PARL puts their heart and soul into their job.
Everyday, shelter staff members are responsible for the daily cleaning, feeding, medical assessments, spay/neuter, and exercise of all the dogs in our care. Our mental and emotional workload extends far beyond the average 40 hour a week job, as we care for these animals as our own until their forever homes are found. This job is our staff's life and they cannot do it without you. Neither can the animals!
This year, PARL's 29th Annual Pet Walk is on Saturday, September 22nd at Roger Williams Park. All proceeds go 100% to Providence Animal Rescue League's animals. Please consider bringing your dogs and registering. This is a great family event centered around the love we all share for animals.
