Once again, I’ll be participating in the annual Pucks for Autism tournament. This year will be extra special as both my boys will be on my team with me. They may never know how special that is to me.
The purpose of this tournament is to raise funds for programs that benefit children and young adults impacted by Autism. One of our primary goals is to help raise funding to help purchase adaptive playground equipment for Fairhaven School in Mundelein. Fairhaven School is a public therapeutic day school serving students in grades Early Childhood through Transition who have Autism.
I know how much SEDOL students and their families need our help and I know what a direct and meaningful impact we can provide. Taking care of the members of our community who are most in need is a responsibility that we all share and one that I am personally committed to.
