I'm walking for a cure

As many of you know, I lost my beautiful mom, Linda, to the devastating disease pulmonary fibrosis. Losing her has left a hole in my heart that can never be filled, and not a day goes by that I don’t miss her.

On August 30, 2026, our family and friends will be participating in the NYC Metro Pulmonary Fibrosis Walk at Liberty State Park in her honor. This walk is more than just an event; it’s a way to keep Linda’s memory alive, raise awareness, and help other families who are facing this heartbreaking disease.

It would mean so much to us if you could join our team and walk beside us in memory of Linda. If you knew and loved her, or if you simply want to support this important cause, we’d love to have you there.

Let’s honor Linda together, celebrate the incredible person she was, and be her angels for the day. Every step we take is a step filled with love, hope, and remembrance. ❤️

Parking: A drop-off point will be available in front of the Liberty State Park office. Free parking is available in the parking lot connected to the walk-site.

About the route: Participants will enjoy a stunning waterfront pathway with views of Lady Liberty, Ellis Island, and the Manhattan skyline for their choice of a one-mile or two-mile walk. Not interested in walking? You can still join us! After the Opening Ceremony, stay at the walk-site to visit sponsor booths, enjoy the activities, and connect with
