PFF Walk 2026

Diane Notheisen

I'm walking for a cure

My shoes are ready and I'm starting to look forward to walking to raise money for the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (PFF).  The PFF Walk in Washington DC is on October 17th and my goal is to raise $790.  Why this unusual amount?  I lost my brother Howard this past April to Pulmonary Fibrosis.  He was 79 years old.

For most of us breathing is something we take for granted, but for the 250,000 people in the United States who are living with pulmonary fibrosis it's not so easy. So I signed up for the PFF Walk to raise funds toward a cure and build awareness in honor of Howard who fought a good fight.

The funds raised by the PFF Walk help accelerate research, empower our community, and transform care so that everyone with pulmonary fibrosis and interstitial lung disease (ILD) can live a better life.

So I'm doing my first walk for PFF and you can help!

Your gift will power progress in the search for a cure and make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and their families. To get started, click on the "Donate Now" or the "Register For This Event" button on the right-hand side.
