Walking together toward a cure
Ten years ago, when our beloved Tom was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, we were told not to research because we would not like what we found. When he passed six months later, all of us were lost and confused as to what had just happened. We wish we had been directed to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation to understand better what he was going through and how we could best help him. Since then, we have also lost one of our guiding lights, Emil "Papa" Ferrarini.
The PFF Walk is for everyone. Whether you are a patient living with pulmonary fibrosis (PF) or interstitial lung disease (ILD), have received a lung transplant, or are a caregiver, family member, friend, or healthcare professional, the PFF Walk celebrates you and your work toward our collective goal: to find a cure.
