The Pine Tree Apple Tennis Classic is an event that is very dear to my heart. Because of my father I have attended this tournament every year since I was born. Growing up, I simply saw it is a fun, carefree tournament that my dad participated in to hang out with friends. The older I got, however, I began to realize that this tournament is so much more than that.
The main reason to participate in this event, aside from competition and fun, is to raise money for cancer research and treating children with cancer. This tournament is so wonderful because it allows us tennis players to support a very important cause while playing the sport we love. My goal for this tournament is to raise $500 to support cancer research. If you have any desire to help me reach my goal, I would greatly appreciate it.
