In March of 2016 I was able to spend 90 minutes at Children's hospital with Kris Ann Schultz, MD. Seeing first hand what miracles are being performed on a daily basis ignites my passion about this cause. The PineTree tournament makes a tremendous difference by:

 

1.Contributing to a holistic treatment approach with the kids and their families

2.Providing the funds to accelerate research findings

3.Finding a cure for children diagnosed with leukemia, brain tumors, and other childhood cancers

Nearly 15,000 kids are diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. every year. Last year, my PineTree friends and I were able to raise around $300,000 to make a difference by giving hope and support to the kids, their families, the doctors, and researchers. Knowing that Dr. Kris Ann Schultz and her team are so close to finding a cure and developing a drug for some of these terminal illnesses is what continues to motivate me to raise every dollar I can.
