I have been playing the great sport of Tennis for over 35 years.  It is a sport that has truly changed my life.  The people that I have met through the game have been an incredible support system for me as I have moved through each new chapter of my life.  My family and I have been blessed with having great health in order to continue to enjoy the game.  Many children in our local community are not this fortunate.  At young ages they are faced, not with the opponent across the net, but with a much greater battle against cancer.  The doctors and staff at the Minnesota Children's Hospitals and Clinics have been on the front lines with these patients and their families.  Their new medical developments and technologies have certainly been effective in minimizing some of the pain.  At this time, unfortunately, there still is no certain cure.  The Children's Hospital and their supporters will not give up until a cure has been found.  This process, of course, takes time and money.  Please join me in supporting this incredible cause and help fund additional research for Children's Cancer through the Pine Tree Tennis Apple Classic this year.   We all thank you for your help!
